Back in May, Preme made his latest return with the the socially charged offering “Lost Hope.” A few months later, the Canadian star then followed that with “Pause Play.” He now is ready to pick up the pace as he came back this month with “Hopscotch,” his brand new collaboration with Swae Lee. Preme keeps his momentum going by grabbing his fellow Canadian star PARTYNEXTDOOR for his latest offering “Make a Mall.” On the track, PND rides some production courtesy of OG Parker to open up the song:
I’m tryna muster up the strength to handle all of it (All of it), every time you call, I make a ball of it (Ball of it)/ I’m tryna change your closet, make a mall of it (Yeah), I’m tryna meet your friend, and then go ball on ’em
I tell you, you can’t turn a real nigga to a sucka, I know a lot of motherfuckers that don’t fuck no mothers/ And I won’t lie, he dead prezzi, niggas dangerous, and they ain’t even clutchin’, yeah/ Good things on my mind, it’s not the time to be lazy only at the jewelers when it’s time to go crazy
It’s been three years since Preme liberated his debut LP Light of Day, a 15-track body of work that saw additional appearances from Offset, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Post Malone, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Wayne, and YG. One particular standout from that album, the Post Malone-assisted “Jackie Chan,” later received a remix via electronic heavyweights Tiësto and Dzeko, effectively helping the song catapult onto charts around the world. Last October, he connected with fellow OVO affiliate Popcaan for the six-track EP Link Up, which contained collaborations alongside Wiz Khalifa, Davido, BEAM, and French Montana.
Be sure to press play on “Make a Mall” by Preme featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR.
