OTF ARoy, a close affiliate of Lil Durk, has passed away after being fatally shot in Chicago on Monday (Dec. 13).

According to reports, a graphic video of the shooting surfaced on social media, showing the moment ARoy was killed as he walked away from a man he had just gotten into a fight with. After he took a few steps, he turned around to see the man he just fought standing on his feet, while holding a gun. Screams were heard in the video while the rapper was tragically hit with gunshots.

This killing is the latest tragedy to strike Durk’s Only The Family group. Most recently, the “Still Trappin'” emcee lost his brother OTF DThang to gun violence. As REVOLT previously reported, back in June, DThang, whose real name is Dontay Banks Jr., was shot and killed outside of an Illinois nightclub.

In November 2020, King Von, who was Durk’s close friend and artist, was fatally shot outside of Atlanta’s Monaco Hookah Lounge after getting into an altercation with Quando Rondo and his crew. Following his death, Durk took to social media to mourn his loss. “MY TWIN GONE. I LOVE YOU BABY BRO – D ROY!!!!!” he wrote alongside a photo of the “Took Her To The O” rapper.

In 2014, Durk’s cousin OTF NuNu was shot and killed in broad daylight on the Southside of Chicago. According to the Chicago Tribune, the inspiring rapper was sitting in an SUV at the Chatham Village Square Mall when the gunman walked up to the vehicle and fired several rounds at the “OC” spitter. NuNu tried to escape in the SUV before crashing into a nearby store. The 21-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene.
