A petition calling for interviews with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith to halt has amassed more than 20,000 signatures.
As REVOLT previously reported, the petition, which is titled “Stop interviewing Will and Jada Smith,” was launched last month on Change.org by Dexter Morales. It had an original goal of 7,500 names, but is now aiming to hit 25,000 signatures. “I’m sick and tired of hearing the BS that goes on in their personal lives,” wrote one signee. “It’s exhausting. I’ve muted their names everywhere, AND STILL SEE THIS!! I’m sick of their weirdness. Make it STOP!!!”
“They keep shoving their personal lives down our throats and frankly, we do not care! Attention seeking is a mental illness and they need to get help,” wrote another.
“I don’t know what’s going on with them but they really,” wrote a third petition supporter. “Need to zip it. So disappointed with this couple. There’s nothing wrong with dealing with and celebrating the best and worst aspects of your marriage…QUIETLY.”
The page was created after multiple stories about the Smiths’ private lives made headlines since Jada’s “entanglement” with singer August Alsina went public last year. After learning that the two have an open marriage, fans have been bombarded with more information about the Smiths than they can take.
Most recently, the I Am Legend actor revealed that he used to vomit during orgasms after using sex to get over heartbreak as a teen.
“I desperately needed relief but as there is no pill for heartbreak, I resorted to the homeopathic remedies of shopping and rampant sexual intercourse,” he wrote in his new memoir. “Up until this point in my life, I had only had sex with one woman other than Melanie, but over the next few months, I went full ghetto hyena.”
“I had sex with so many women, and it was so constitutionally disagreeable to the core of my being, that I developed a psychosomatic reaction to having an orgasm,” Will added. “It would literally make me gag and sometimes even vomit.”
