Back in September, M1llionz liberated his debut mixtape Provisional Licence, which saw additional contributions from Headie One, AJ Tracey, Lotto Ash, and Jevon. The project was also led by the well-received singles “Badnis,” “How Many Times,” “Bando Spot,” and “Regular Bag” — the Birmingham talent also promoted the 12-track body of work with a humorous “Driving School” mini-series that saw appearances from Ghetts, Ivorian Doll, SL, Unknown T, and more.
Yesterday (Nov. 25), M1llionz delivered a new visual from Provisional Licence for “Mobbin,” a HONEYWOODSIX and Jevon-produced effort that’s probably best well-known for the rapper’s flips of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” and “Billie Jean” throughout:
“Skeng are you okay? Are you okay? Are you okay, brodie? At the passenger side window with the ting cocked, bro, reverse slowly, I see some yutes by the chicken shop, should I lick it off? Quick, quick, bro show me, ay ay, it’s kicking off, let’s see what these niggas on, skeng, take his Roley…”
True fans of M1llionz have seen him making himself comfortable in different parts of the world, including Nairobi and Jamaica, the latter of which makes even more sense given his cultural roots. This go ‘round, he can be seen in the midst of Paris — specifically, the city’s eastern suburb of Clichy-sous-Bois. Following a quick disclaimer, the “Lagga” star can be seen, well, mobbing heavy with a heavily masked crew, riding through the area’s streets, playing dominoes with close cohorts, and more. One notable scene sees M1llionz being apprehended by a police officer before the tables quickly turn, with the artist’s cohorts making an armed ambush in an empty parking garage. I would be remiss not to mention the quick moonwalk attempt near the Bishop Nast-directed video’s beginning, an obvious nod to the King of Pop.
