Morray has had one hell of a year. Back in April, he released the mixtape Street Sermons, a 13-track project led by the wildly successful “Quicksand.” Not long after, his vocals could be heard on J. Cole’s The Off-Season standout “m y . l i f e,” a song that also features 21 Savage and subsequently peaked at the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 — the trio would later go on a North American tour in support of that album. Finally, the Fayetteville talent would join the likes of 42 Dugg, Flo Milli, Pooh Shiesty, Coi Leray, Toosii, and Blxst as part of XXL’s latest Freshman class.
Back in September, Morray returned with the new single “Bad Situations,” leading many to hope that an official debut LP wasn’t too far around the corner. Today (Nov. 18), he fans the growing flames with “Never Fail,” a collaboration alongside Benny The Butcher that sees the two determined to remain on top:
“I had some niggas, they said I would make it, my niggas, they said I would fall off, fuck a bitch nigga and his opinion, say you safe but I’m raw, dawg, I’ma just count up the millions, it’s touchin’ the ceiling, I love how it fall, dawg, you get one shot to make an impression, or you blow it like a shot off, don’t you blow it like a shot off…”
As previously reported by REVOLT, Benny The Butcher recently took to social media revealed some good news of his own — with the aid of Snoop Dogg, he’s now the latest artist to sign to Def Jam Records:
“A Buffalo nigga the new face of The Legendary [Def Jam] … signed my major deal finally this for DJ Shay … Griselda x B$F this is BIG…Huge Buffalo we did it again … this street shit back on top…”
