Back in July, PG County’s very own IDK unleashed his anticipated USEE4YOURSELFalbum. Today (Oct. 29), he decided it’s time to double back and give fans a treat as he unleashes the extended version of the project. Assembling the definitive version of his 2021 full-length, he reupped and recharged the body of work with nine new tracks, including the single “Dinner Date” featuring Trippie Redd. On the track, the two feed off each other’s energy flawlessly:
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight (Seven, eight)/ I told her 8:30 for a dinner date (Dinner date) pull up at 8:50, bitch, I’m always late (Always late)/ I kill the pussy, dip and I don’t leave a trace/ Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cuatro, cuatro, cinco, seis (Cinco, seis)
Royce Da 5’9” also appears on the new deluxe version on “Dogs Don’t Lie.” Other extended versions include “Temporary Love” featuring SiR and “2 Cents” featuring Shy Glizzy. The deluxe release comes with a 15 minute USEEFORYOURSELF documentary that features Pharrell Williams, Young Thug, Kevin Durant, Zane Lowe, Offset, Lil Yachty, Mike Dean and many more.
The original body of work boasted 17 tracks and an impressive roster of features, including names like MF DOOM, Slick Rick, Lucky Daye, Jay Electronica, Offset, Young Thug, and plenty more. He shared his latest offering from the project, the official video for “Dogs Don’t Lie,” to keep the momentum going. He also took a detour from album offerings for a brief moment last month when he dropped off his freestyle over Drake’s “Champagne Poetry” beat from Certified Lover Boy.
Preceding the official project release, IDK prepped fans with singles like “Peloton” and “Pradada Bang” featuring Young Thug. IDK’s USEE4YOURSELF project follows his 2019 debut LP Is He Real?, which saw 14 tracks with additional assists from DMX, Pusha T, JID, Tyler, the Creator, Burna Boy, GLC, Lil Kymchii, Jerm, and Kapri Styles.
