Brazil’s very own Anitta has just unleashed her latest single “Faking Love” and recruited the one and only Saweetie for the assist. The song arrives after her other 2021 singles such as “Girl From Rio,” “Loco,” and her feature on the “La Mama de la Mama (Remix)” alongside El Alfa and Busta Rhymes. On the new “Faking Love” track, Anitta sets the tone with her energy before Saweetie joins her effortlessly for the hook:

Anitta has certainly been having an exciting year. Recently, she took center stage at Billboard’s Latin Music Week for a wide-ranging interview and she made history as the first Brazilian artist to perform at the MTV VMAs this year. Anitta performed “Girl From Rio” on NBC’s Today Show and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!. She also took the stage at the first-ever televised special of the Latin GRAMMY® Celebra: Ellas Y Su Música on Univision.
Saweetie led the charge for a lit summer with her first installment of her Pretty Summer Playlist release a few months ago, which includes seven songs and features from names like Lourdiz and Drakeo The Ruler. Back in January, Saweetie linked up with Doja Cat and blessed fans with a new anthem to hype your bestie with. The “Best Friend” track got even better as Saweetie tapped Stefflon Don to add a fresh new paint job to the hit for its official remix. Prior to that was her Jhene Aiko-assisted single “Back To The Streets.”
