Cardo Got Wings and Larry June have done it again. The two frequent collaborators return today (Sept. 24) with their joint project Into The Late Night. The new body of work boasts seven new tracks and remains featureless to ensure the duo’s musical chemistry is front and center. It was preceded by singles like “Friday Activities.” For his opening verse on that track, June narrates a Friday night well-spent:

A nice day on the the block, the trap is moving, the hoes is out/ Hey Ms. Parker, your body is nice, your man ain’t home? I’m hittin’ tonight/ I’m headin’ to the muthafuckin’ store, a box of condoms, and a water for sure/

Hit the kill switch, ready to go, bitch on my line and she ready to hoe/ See you on the internet with them fake ass posts/ Yeah I got a lot of hoes, what else you wanna know?/

Back in June, Larry June unleashed his Orange Print project and has been providing smooth visuals for his fans to vibe to at a steady pace ever since. First up was “Still Cookin,” then cuts like “6am In Sausalito” and “Intercepted” featuring Money Man. Since its release, the Orange Print already surpassed well over 25M streams and cracked the Billboard Top 200 for the first time in his career. At the tail end of 2020, Larry June slid in one last project Numbers after a busy and successful year. Named after one of his most popular ad-libs, the Numbers project includes features from Ro James, Dej Loaf, Jay Worthy, Monroe Flow, and more.

Cardo has been lending his expertise behind the boards to certain projects, like his joint Another Day Another Dollar with Payroll Giovanni. He also linked up with Larry June for Cruise USA last year after dropping off his own Game Related 10-piece.
