Rick Ross has finally earned his driver’s license — at the age of 45.
During an interview with “Today,” the “Aston Martin Music” rapper revealed that he can now legally drive, even though he has over 100 cars. “I actually was driven to the test,” he said. “I do have over 100 cars and I just hadn’t had my license. So, whenever I go joyriding, it was just one of those things.”
“My mom and my sister pressured me, finally. So, I went and took the test. It took me an hour,” he added. “You know, I missed a few answers, but I got it.”
Rozay said taking the driving test was worth it because “you should have your driver’s license.” However, the Miami native would use his pearly whites to get out of getting tickets or being arrested. “But it’s something about my smile,” he said. “Every time I get pulled over, by the time the officers walked up…They like, ‘Go ‘head, Rozay. We know you good.’”
As REVOLT previously reported, the Port of Miami 2 emcee revealed the thoughts that went through his mind when he was asked if he was an organ donor while filling out his driver’s license paperwork. “But more importantly, I’m filling everything for my driver’s license, and they ask me, ‘Are you an organ donor?’” he said. “And you know what I said? ‘Damn.’ If something was to happen to me, and they looked inside of me and saw how good my heart was…Don’t let me die just to take my good heart.”
During his interview on “Today,” Ross also spoke about his new book “The Perfect Day to Boss Up: A Hustler’s Guide to Building Your Empire.” In the novel, the Biggest Boss shared how thinking positively has helped his career and life excel.
“I feel like life is such a beautiful struggle,” he said. “Let’s not prepare for the losses, because we know you’ll have losses. Let’s prepare for the wins so you can keep going.”
