Just last month, Young Dolph and his Paper Route collective released the compilation PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi, which contained 23 tracks and appearances from Key Glock, Big Unccc, Gucci Mane, Big Moochie Grape, Joddy Badass, Kenny Muney, PaperRoute Woo, and more. The project also landed Dolph and his team at 22 on the Billboard 200 following its first week out, thanks to roughly 20,000 album equivalent units sold.
Looking to keep the momentum going, Dolph decided to liberate another visual from PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi for Dolph, Snupe Bandz, and Jay Fizzle’s “Here We Go,” which follows previously released drops for “Nothing To Me,” “Bandaid,” and “Mister Glock 2.” Produced by Sosa 808 and Montana Corleone, “Here We Go” is filled with boastful raps about the crew’s rich lifestyle, women, street politics, and more:
“The first thing I did, I went and got me a zip, the second thing I did, I went and took me a trip, he owed me money, I said don’t ball, just shoot the shit up off the rip, shorty got the best massage, she do it with her lips, sittin’ in my office smokin’ blunts like I’m Bill Clinton, my side bitch start catchin’ feelings, I had to tell her chill, she sick, ill, murder, kill, all of my trap money go to my kids, it’s in my will…”
The video for “Here We Go” keeps things pretty simple and to the point — the clip begins with Dolph and a women in a living room counting money, interspersed with scenes of the Memphis emcee bringing the lyrics to life. Snupe Bandz and Jay Fizzle can be spotted in a bedroom and bathroom with their own women throughout.
