Back in June, Larry June unleashed his Orange Print project and has been providing smooth visuals for his fans to vibe to at a steady pace ever since. First up was “Still Cookin,” then cuts like “6am In Sausalito” and “Intercepted” featuring Money Man. Today (Aug 5), he drops off his newest offering, the freshly released visual for “Grande Nash Chronicles.” Equipped with a feature from Trae Tha Truth, the song sees Larry June setting the tone with his opening bars:
Fire up the G-body, quick lil’ sto’ run (Yeah) wight have to franchise it, n***a/ We done made a ton (Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy), still get them flashbacks, took thirty day runs (For real)/ Still tryna better myself, still learning love on the San Mateo bridge, took the C4 ‘Vette/ Used to think she really fuck with me until she felt depression (Damn)
Enterprising, money in my bank keep me stimulated/ Partnership, build with the family then we elevate, ownership, fuck buying cars, cop real estate/ Love all your flaws, my n***a, and keep getting cake’
Since its release, the Orange Print already surpassed 25M streams and cracked the Billboard Top 200 for the first time in his career. At the tail end of 2020, Larry June slid in one last project Numbers after a busy and successful year. Named after one of his most popular ad-libs, the Numbers project includes features from Ro James, Dej Loaf, Jay Worthy, Monroe Flow, and more. It kicks off with “From Uncle Herm pt. 2,” which is a continuation of a track featured on his Keep Going project with Harry Fraud. It’s his second solo project of the year, his first being March’s Adjust To The Game.
Aside from his own solo bodies of work, Larry has been extra busy this year with collab projects, dropping off his Cruise Usa project with Cardo in May, Orange Season (Deluxe) with Cookin’ Soul, Keep Going with Harry Fraud, and Cooks & Orange Juice with Berner back in October.
