Fetty Wap’s daughter’s cause of death revealed

The 4-year-old tragically passed away in June.

Fetty Wap’s 4-year-old daughter tragically passed away as a result of a cardiac arrhythmia, TMZ reported on Thursday (Aug. 5). According to her death certificate, Lauren Maxwell died due to complications from congenital cardiac anomalies — an irregular heartbeat that she suffered from since birth.

According to the document, the child passed away from the health issue on June 24 at her family’s home in Riverdale, Georgia.

As reported by REVOLT, Lauren’s mother Turquoise Miami confirmed the tragic news in a heartfelt Instagram post last Saturday (July 31).

“This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius,” she wrote in the sweet tribute. “If you see this post scrolling by with her comment… Just say to yourself, ‘I love you LAUREN,’ because they say that souls can feel your love #RIP.”

“I love you Lauren!” she added.

Fetty also mourned the loss of his daughter online. On Instagram, he posted a photo of Lauren, writing, “Hey mini me (My Twin)…. I love you to the moon and back forever and ever best friend.”

Taking to Instagram Live earlier this week, the “Trap Queen” rapper spoke through tears while addressing Lauren’s death. During the Live, Fetty showed fans a photo of Lauren that he keeps with him and asked his followers to comment butterfly emojis under his posts as a way to honor her.

“You know shorty loved butterflies,” he said choked up.

Fetty also dedicated his Rolling Loud Miami performance to Lauren. After his set, the Trap & B rapper wrote on his Instagram Story, “LoLo daddy did that shit for you last night baby girl.”

Besides Lauren, Fetty is also the father of five other children: his son Aydin, 6-year-old daughter Zaviera, 5-year-olds Khari and Amani and toddler Zy. See his latest post about Lauren below.
