So far in 2021, Ye Ali has released a fair amount of singles for fans to enjoy. First up was April’s “I Can’t Wait,” then came his back-to-back release pack of “No Attachments” and “Info” the following month. He now makes his swift return with his latest offering, the freshly released “Dangerous.” On the song, he stays in his usual seductive bag, deciding whether or not he should keep his situation going:
Baby you a goddess, you an angel sent from heaven baby I’ll be honest/ We been going back and forth forever what we gon’ do about it?
Back in December, Ye Ali shared the third installment of his Private Suite 3 series. The project presented 16 tracks and enlists JAHKOY, DCMBR, Lyfe Harris, and others for features. Aside from his own music, Ye Ali has boasted production credits for projects like Jack Harlow’s That’s What They All Say on the Chris Brown-featured “Already Best Friends” as well as Fetty Wap and Monty’s You Know The Vibes cut, “Way Past 12.” He also grabbed a shiny new Platinum plaque for his contributions on “Stranger Things” by Joyner Lucas and Chris Brown, his first placement ever in his career.
In a previous sit-down with REVOLT from this year, Ye Ali delved into an important lesson he’s learned about being in the studio that he carries with him:
Play your role. Sometimes if you have certain people in the studio, you don’t need to do everything. Maybe you don’t need to top line. Maybe you need to do clean-up duty. Rebounds and hitting the boards. I think of it as sports. The hustle players, like Draymond Green, matter because he does the things Steph [Curry] and Klay [Thompson] don’t do. Sometimes you need to be the glue guy who finishes a line someone can’t finish. You don’t need to be the guy who writes the whole song.
Be sure to press play on Ye Ali’s brand new single “Dangerous.”
