Back in May, 42 Dugg unleashed his latest project Free Dem Boyz. Since then, he’s enhanced the release by providing impressive visuals for cuts like “4 Da Gang” featuring Roddy Rich and “Maybach” featuring Future. His latest offering is the freshly released “Turnest N***a in the City.” Directed by Gerard Victor, the visual puts the spotlight on Dugg and the CMG family – with appearances from Yo Gotti and EST Gee – as they enjoy the fruits of their labor in Miami while 42 Dugg rides the DJ Swift and Mook On The Beats-co-produced beat:
Doggy brick for sixty-five, yeah, I’m on that, Free Skeet, if they don’t take a three, then I don’t want that/ One foot in and one foot out like fuck it, bring them phones back/ ’Cuz takin’ hits still, 12 could get ‘em killed still
Buzz been goin’ up in the hood, Doggy a thug, Jedd finally cut off his hair, caught him a Blood/ Still takin’ hits of the nast’, thought I was done/ Nah, bitch, get you a bag, let’s have some fun, Jazz back fuckin’ with Chazz, I shouldn’t cry
The new visual comes fresh off Dugg’s performance at this weekend’s (July 23 – July 25) Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, where he made his major festival debut on Day 1 of the three-day event. Later in the weekend, Dugg appeared on stage again during Lil Baby’s set for a performance of their successful single “We Paid.”
“Turnest N**** In The City” is off Dugg’s aforementioned project Free Dem Boyz which debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 charts in May. The project included star-studded collaborations with Future, Roddy Ricch, Lil Durk, EST Gee, Rowdy Rebel and Fivio Foreign. The 15-trackbody of work features previously-released songs dedicated to his incarcerated friends such as “Free Merey,” “Free Woo” and “Free Me.” Free Dem Boyz spent 8 weeks on the Billboard 200.
