Although Sha’Carri Richardson will not be competing in the Tokyo Olympics, a new opportunity has opened up for the accomplished sprinter. Dr. Dabber, a vaping company that offers cannabis-based products, has asked the 21-year-old to be a spokesperson for the brand – a position that would pay $250,000; TMZ reports.

According to the outlet, which reported the deal’s details on Wednesday (July 14), Richardson would become one of the brand’s “doctors,” or a high-level brand ambassador, should she choose to accept. The company reportedly told the athlete: “Considering your talent and grace over these past weeks, we would love to offer you the opportunity to work with our team as a spokesperson for Dr. Dabber. This entails testing our award-winning dab rigs and vape pens as a resident ‘doctor.’”

TMZ reports that the full extent of the ambassadorship, including how long Richardson would represent the company, is unclear. So far, she has not responded to the offer.

As reported by REVOLT, more races are also in Richardson’s future. On Tuesday (July 13), it was announced that the Texas native will run in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes at the Prefontaine Classic this August.

“I’m looking forward to running fast and putting on a show,” she said in a statement about the upcoming competition.

Unfortunately, Ricardson’s hopes of competing in the Tokyo Olympics were dashed after she tested positive for THC. The positive drug test invalidated her win at the U.S. Olympic trials and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency suspended her from the Olympic team for one month. After being barred from participating in her signature 100-meter sprint and not being selected for the U.S.’s 4×100 relay team, Richardson released a statement.

“The attention that is on track now and was because of very very few names,” she said on Twitter. “So if that’s where fans support lay, you can’t be mad at that.”
