Nick Cannon’s beloved series “Wild ‘N Out” is set to return for its 16th season. According to Deadline, the upcoming season will premiere on Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. EST, followed by weekly episodes airing every Tuesday and Wednesday night on VH1.
Leading up to the premiere, “Wild ‘N Out” will also partner with the technology platform Stage TEN. Deadline writes that the partnership will include a one-hour live digital special, where fans will be able to interact with the cast through voting and by leaving real-time comments. Season 16 will reportedly feature a post-apocalyptic set design and introduce 10 new games.
Stars and performers who are already booked for the season include Latto, Rick Ross, Trina, Freddie Gibbs, Coi Leray, Too $hort, Fat Joe, Loni Love, 24KGoldn, Big Freedia, Jucee Froot, Foushee, Morray, Gary Owen, Zaytoven, BRS Kash, Erika Banks, HotBoii, Mooski, 42 Dugg and more.
The return of “Wild ‘N Out” arrives after Cannon’s reconciliation with ViacomCBS, which fired him last summer. The TV host was accused of “hateful speech” and promoting “anti-Semitic conspiracy theories” on his “Cannon’s Class” podcast. After being terminated, Cannon took a break from his Power 106 radio show and apologized to the Jewish community.
ViacomCBS welcomed him back in February, saying he took “responsibility for his comments” and “worked to educate himself and others through engagement with Jewish leaders and on his platforms.”
The remaining episodes of “Wild ‘N out” Season 15 aired in April.
More recently, Cannon has made headlines for his growing family. The 40-year-old welcomed twin sons with Abby De La Rosa last month. Alyssa Scott, who previously said she was pregnant by Cannon, also gave birth to their child earlier this week. Cannon also shares a pair of twins with his ex-wife Mariah Carey and a son and daughter with Brittany Bell.
