At the top of the year, Richie Starboi and A1 Flow unearthed the infectious drill cut “Huncho,” a PAPARAW-produced offering that saw the rappers flexing their rockstar lifestyles. A couple of months later, the D.C. hip hop veterans liberated a matching visual for their viral hit, which has since been getting spins on numerous radio stations and in slowly re-opening clubs alike.

For their latest, Richie and A1 now have a remix of “Huncho,” which features current DMV frontrunner Xanman, who wastes no time adding his unique off-kilter flow and clever wordplay to the hard-hitting number:

“Four in a cup like quatro, take a bitch to San Di-ah-go, ‘migo a plug, El Chapo, soft ass nigga, I’m callin’ you Lots-o’, we put a beam on his ass, he Jocko, you ain’t even know, I’m feelin’ like Rocko, ay, quick draw, big 40 knockin’ his lip off, Chris Paul, shoot from the three on this niggas, Martin Luther, I ain’t speak to the niggas, I feel like Floyd, I ain’t readin’ my nigga…”

As one of the most prolific artists in the game right now, Xanman has steadily released a career’s worth of music over the past few years, including notable drops like Xan Servin 2, Broken, I’m A Bad Person, and Like Tony VI — all of which contains the short, humorous-yet-ultra-violent bars that’s quickly made him one of the rappers to watch. Trouble with the law couldn’t stop his movement, either — a short stint in jail back in 2018 sparked a #FreeXan movement that ultimately pushed his music stream into the upper atmosphere. This December, he’ll be joining a plethora of hip hop’s best for Rolling Loud’s California stop — an opportunity which will only exponentially increase his profile.
