DDG has been making headlines lately not only for his music, but most recently due to his victory on the LivexLive’s Social Gloves: Battle Of The Platforms boxing event on Saturday (June 12). He proudly repped his YouTube set against TikTok star Nate Wyatt, and then got straight back to work on his real passion: music.
The Michigan star just dropped off his latest pack of bars, the “iCarly (Freestyle)” which pays homage to one of Nickelodeon’s most coveted series’ during the tail end of the 2000’s. The track opens up with the actual theme song playing, then switches over when the beat drops and DDG flows over it:
What you mean that you gangster? I ain’t seen shit (Nah)/ I don’t like nice girls, I want a mean bitch, wtill throw it back, and she cook and she clean, bitch/ Hit ‘em and put ‘em straight to sleep, I got lean dick, forgiatos on the coupe, hoes love the whip

Back in March, DDG tapped in with super-producer OG Parker to be his co-pilot for a joint EP titled Die 4 Respect. The body of work is equipped with 11 songs and a dope roster of features from names like Coi Leray, YoungBoy NBA, PnB Rock, and more. Die 4 Respect was preceded by singles like “Money Long” and “Rule #1” with Yachty, and he continued the momentum by dropping off the official visual for the Coi Leray-assisted “Impatient” and the Tyla Yaweh-assisted “Hakuna Matata.”
