G Perico continues to deliver top quality cuts for his fans to enjoy. His latest is the GotDamnitDupri-produced cut “I’m In Traffic,” which sees him rapping about a typical ride through L.A., street life, and more:
“Niggas wanna know where the fuck is you from, if you come outside, know you better have a gun, I’m in traffic in my Corvette with the music blastin’, throwing my gang sign up while I’m rappin’, I ain’t got shit to prove, I’m established…”
“I’m In Traffic” follows Blue T-Shirt Leaks, a four-track collection of past drops that Perico liberated earlier this month. In addition to that, this year has seen Cali star release four other bodies of work — No Love In LA, Lover Boy Slim, Free, and Welcome To The Land, along with a slew of visuals from each for fans to enjoy. He’s not just working on his own heat, either — Perico has also contributed to dope cuts like Jay Worthy and Harry Fraud’s “Ice Cold,” Terrace Martin and Denzel Curry’s “Pig Feet,” Don Pablito’s “West Coast,” Garren’s “Heavy Metal,” Joey Fatts’ “None of That,” Donut Da Legend’s “Double Back,” Fatboy Bizzle’s “Feel Me Or Kill Me (Remix),” TruCarr’s “What I See,” and — most recently — Griff Tyler’s “Wassup.”
Perico’s last full-length LP, Ten-Eight, made landfall via Roc Nation back in 2019, complete with 11 songs and assists from Sonny Digital, Az Chike, Bucho, and Garren. Since then, the hip hop veteran has continues to bless the masses through his Perico’s Innerprize imprint. He’s also continued to expand his Blue T-Shirt brand, most recently unloading a one-year anniversary capsule in celebration of his current success. Presumably, we can all expect plenty more music and merch to come from Perico as we continue further into the warmer months.
