Chavo and Pi’erre Bourne have dropped off another taste from their upcoming project and recruited Detroit’s very own Babyface Ray for the assist. “Michigan (Remix)” is the second single from Chavo and Pi’erre Bourne’s 2021 album, Chavo’s World 2, and serves as a remix of their 2020 single “Michigan” that appeared on the first installment of the series. On the track, Chavo kicks it off the song by delivering the first verse over a Pi’erre beat:
Shh, iPhone 11 going bonkers, lil’ bitch is a monster, pull up in the Tonka/ Shh, I told her, “Don’t call me Rayshaun, you better call me Mister Chavo ‘cause I won’t see you tomorrow”/
Shh, I’m smokin’ spliffs and Runtz in Tahoes and we don’t smoke on Gelato, told my driver, “Watch for potholes”/ Shh, she cuffing hunchos when she drop clothes, I ain’t trippin’, on the Bible, just don’t touch my codeine bottle
Pi’erre has been steadily gearing up to release his fifth installment of The Life of Pi’erre. The multi-talented artist has been very consistent in terms of providing videos to go along with his music. Directly prior to this were his visuals for cuts like “Guillotine,” “Juice,” and most recently “Speed Dial.” Additionally he released a few more including “Be Mine,” “Routine,” “Ballad,” “Racer,” and his triple pack of “Horoscopes,” “Doublemint,” and “Stereotypes.”
Babyface Ray officially shared his Unfuckwitable EP back in February. The EP includes production from Hit Boy, Hoodrich Keem and features Moneybagg Yo, Kash Doll, and EST Gee. Prior to the release, Babyface Ray gave fans a taste of the project by dropping his “If You Know You Know” music video with Moneybagg Yo. Most recently, Babyface Ray joined G.T. for their “Going Long” collab track.
