Justine Skye and Timbaland have been steadily cooking up their project Space & Time for quite a while now, and this month the body of work is officially set to finally make landfall on June 25. So far, she’s kept us intrigued with singles like “Intruded,” and now she unleashes brand new cut for us to enjoy. The songstress taps in with Nigeria’s very own Rema for her new single “Twisted Fantasy,” which sees Skye exploring the unknown with her lyrics:
You hit me on the late night, I was coming through to get my head right/ I can’t even lie I had a drink or two, anything I can to get my mind off you/
Twisted fantasies in my head, and I don’t wanna talk I wanna show you instead/ You hit me right on time, wonder where you at when you’re not on my mind
“We went on a journey to a different dimension where thoughts and visions meet in a dream within a dream,” a thankful Justine wrote on Instagram. “I’m so grateful to continue to have art accompany my music. Thanks to all of the incredibly talented people who came together to make this happen.”
She also made sure to acknowledge her appreciation for her co-star Rema, who flew across the world to be a part of this collaboration. Thank you so much Rema for being apart of this with me. Flew allll the way from Nigeria for me mannn, that’s REAL!
Most recently, Rema released a brand new single titled “Bounce” a few months ago, and he can also be heard alongside Stefflon Don and Tiwa Savage on Don’s “Can’t Let You Go (Remix).” Rema stormed onto the scene in 2019 with his four-track, self-titled EP. The project boasted his monstrous hit “Dumebi,” the feel-good hit that was blasting through people’s speakers for the entire summer, racking up well over 50 million total streams. He’s kept busy since then, sharing singles such as “Woman,” “Alien,” and “Ginger Me.”
