Though they’ve had their differences, past collaborators and friends Boosie Badazz and Webbie appear to be back together again. The pair reunited over the weekend to perform a packed show, which SayCheese TV and other media outlets reported was their first joint concert in five years.
According to an Instagram post from Webbie, the pair were performing at a club in Houston, Texas. Boosie didn’t comment on the performance on his new Instagram accounts, but did confirm that he was traveling over the weekend.
On social media, fans were happy to see the friends setting aside their past differences and having fun together.
“Man Glad to see Boosie and Webbie back together,” one Instagram user commented.
“They should’ve never beef’d in the first place,” another fan agreed on Twitter.
The “Wipe Me Down” collaborators reconnected back in November after Boosie was shot in the leg in Dallas, Texas. On Twitter, Boosie revealed that Webbie paid him a visit to check in on him while he was recovering.
“My Ni**a Webbie Pulled Up On Me,” he tweeted. “That’s Love.”
Earlier in the year, the pair went back-and-forth on social media, with Boosie arguing that Webbie didn’t make an effort to contact or visit him while he was in prison. Prior to that, though, Boosie claimed to DJ Vlad that there was no bad blood between him and Webbie.
“It ain’t me, dawg. We just don’t see eye to eye on some shit,” he told Vlad last January. “I still love him [but] I feel like it ain’t me…We just gotta get on the same page.”
“Hopefully, we get in there, we make some more classics,” he added. “But every month and a half, I’m dropping a classic.”
