Last October, Yung Gravy dropped off his sophomore solo LP Gasanova, which saw 14 tracks and notable appearances from Young Dolph, Ski Mask The Slump God, Chief Keef, Y2K, and bbno$ — the last of whom joined Gravy for their well-received Baby Gravy series. One such standout from Gasanova — the Valentino Khan-produced “oops!” — is a perfect example of Gravy’s style, a blend of humorous-yet-hard-hitting rhymes made even more so thanks to the colorful, whimsical video that matches the single.

This past weekend, “oops!” received a remix that features none other than Lil Wayne, who makes quick work of the pop-esque track with explicit raps about what he likes to do behind closed doors:

“Oops, my fault, I fuck her, send her home, I don’t let her wipe off, fuck and send her home, walkin’ funny, my fault, I forgot the rubbers, oops, livin’ life raw, I’m about to nut, oops, in her eyeball, now she got the number, bitch feelin’ like bae, I just said I love her, oops, what did I say? Now she want kids, want kids in her face, oops/”

Hailing from Minnesota, Yung Gravy rose above the ranks as a Soundcloud artist, making big waves via the breakthrough single “Mr. Clean” and his EP of the same name. More recently, he dropped off the EP Tracy’s Ultimate Fitness Mix, which contains six tracks and assists from the likes of Lil Baby, Pouya, Ramirez, and TrippyThaKid.

In a past interview with Los Angeles’ Power 106, Yung Gravy revealed that his name is stemmed from younger days as a summer camp counselor, where he and his friends would freestyle in the middle of the woods. One particular line, “pulling through smooth, you can call me Yung Gravy,” received a big enough response to where the nickname stuck — and the rest is history.
