Ludacris is apparently trading in his sports cars for a fly new ride. The Fast & Furious actor posted an Instagram video on Tuesday (March 2) of himself casually flying a plane.

“If You Don’t Evolve, You’ll Evaporate,” he captioned the inspirational clip.

The post suggests that the Atlanta native recently acquired his pilot license. Luda reportedly owns a $20 million Hawker 700 private jet, which he’ll now be able to operate himself. It’s unclear whether or not Luda is flying that private jet in the clip, though the post does say he’s “going home.”

Fans quickly praised the Ludaversal rapper for his impressive new hobby.

“Ludacris got a whole pilot’s license during the Ponderosa and I still haven’t learned to put on fake eyelashes,” one fan tweeted.

On Instagram, Luda’s friends also gave him his deserved props.

“Doin it all while rockin a T-shirt & shorts! Bucket List shawty!!! Get em bro,” “Power” actor Larenz Tate commented.

“Next level,” Russ chimed in.

Ludacris last touched down on the music front with his collaboration with Chance the Rapper, “Found You.”

More recently, the 43-year-old has been focusing on his acting and film pursuits, including his newly released one-hour special, “Luda Can’t Cook.” The show premiered on Discovery+ at the end of last month and found the rapper trying his hand at cooking alongside professional chef Meherwan Irani.

Fast & Furious 9 is also tentatively scheduled to hit theaters this May. However, Variety reports that the upcoming film could end up being postponed to the summer or even next year depending on the state of the pandemic. Last year, Universal signed a deal with major movie theater chains in order to be able to release its films on-demand sooner than usual due to the lockdown restrictions.
