The last time we got music video we got from Cardi B, it turned out to be the monstrous Meg Thee Stallion-assisted hit “WAP.” After experiencing much success with that collab, over 336 million YouTube views later, Cardi decided to bless us once again. She makes her 2021 debut with her new single “Up,” which you can enjoy down below.
For anyone paying attention to the music scene within the last two years, it was nearly impossible to not come across Cardi’s name. Prior to the aforementioned “WAP” hit was her 2018 debut album Invasion of Privacy, which earned her a nomination and victory at the Grammys the following year. The project boasted hits like “I Like It” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin, “Drip” featuring Migos, “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage, and plenty more.
In other news, as previously reported by REVOLT, Cardi B recently walked away triumphantly in $30 million legal battle with her former manager. On Christmas Eve, the case was dismissed with prejudice, so neither party can ever bring the case back up in court ever again. “This action, including all claims and counterclaims, is hereby dismissed in its entirety with prejudice against all parties,” the legal documents state. “The parties have further agreed that all parties to this action shall bear their own costs and attorney’s fees.”
“According to my lawyers a little but more then that but it can’t be touch till my litigation is over,” Cardi wrote in a tweet last July in response to a fan’s question about her earnings. “It’s just can’t be touch till we solve the dispute. But when that fat ass check hit my account all at once it’s gonna be lit. Thats why I never trip cause it’s there.”
