Jimmy Edgar has shared “NOTICE,” a new single featuring Atlanta rapper 24hrs, from his upcoming new solo album CHEETAH BEND. The project is set to be out for fans to enjoy on Feb. 26 on Innovative Leisure. On the new track, 24hrs slides over the moody and bolstering production from Edgar:
I got all my chains on, I got all my chains on. We make a movie, we pop out./ I made a million and dropped out. Noticed that she don’t wanna fuck with me. Last week she didn’t have no luck with me./ Know that I always got racks on me. Know that they always come back for me. Know that they always come back to me. Know that they always come back.
As a versatile producer, Jimmy Edgar is drawing on both his vibrant discography as a producer on the edge of electronic music (including collaborations with Hudson Mohawk and Machinedrum) as well as his increasing presence in hip-hop circles (including recent productions for Dawn Richards, Vince Staples, OG Maco, and more) to cook up his new project. In 2020 he dropped his WHO I BE project, a 9-track body of work in collaboration with B La B. More recently, he produced a track for Jose Guapo and HoodRich Pablo Juan titled “Can’t Stand It” that dropped last month.
24hrs released his 12 AM in Atlanta 2 project last year, which is a collab with DJ Drama the second installment of his series. The body of work contained 16 tracks and a long list of features from names like Young Nudy, K CAMP, MadeInTYO, Wiz Khalifa, K Swisha, Ty Dolla $ign, Seddy Hendrix and more.
