Earlier this month, Nyck Caution shared his latest project Anywhere But Here. So far, fans have received visuals for “Product of My Environment” featuring Kota The Friend and Erick The Architect and “How You Live It” featuring Joey Bada$$, and now his latest offering is the official video for “Coat Check / Session 47.” On the first verse, Nyck glides over Canis Major production:
Peep game, yeah, I peep those plottin’. Stay away from the bull like Stockton. Fake new ‘bout you ‘gon surface. That ain’t got no legs, they dachshund. Bad vibes, I don’t need those options. Stay away, cut ‘em off like tonsils. Life’s a game but it’s not no console. No respawn, stay mindful. When the rain fall down, we gon’ all get wet. When the day get rough, we gon’ solve these tests. Life’s too short and we all be stressed.
After enjoying all the love flooding in from the release, Nyck made sure to express his gratitude. The rapper posted a thankful caption to shoutout the people who made the project possible, and promises to deliver more throughout the year. “Put my heart and soul into this shit and really can’t thank the people that helped me make this enough,” he writes. “@loststudiostrev for recording and mixing everything for years, my brother in arms were in this til the fuckin wheels fall off. @carlpires for coming in and helping me with actually getting this out. All people at @ada_music @proerarecords thank you so much. More to come this year I promise you!”
He kicked off the heat a few months ago in October when he revealed his collab track with Joey Bada$$ titled “How You Live It.” He closed out the year with cuts like “Product of my Environment” featuring Kota The Friend and Erick The Architect, and also “December 24th” featuring Elbee Thrie. Prior to this was his 2020 project Open Flame. The short and sweet five-track project included features from Meechy Darko, Flipp Dinero, and Jake Luttrell.
