Since expanding from marijuana to music, Jack The Plug and his The Plug imprint has been delivering a slew of dope collaborations between American and European artists. Back in 2019, the record label released the compilation album Plug Talk, which saw 13 tracks and contributions from D-Block Europe, Offset, Tory Lanez, Dappy, Chip, Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby, Nafe Smallz, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and loads more. Fast-forward to now, and The Plug is gearing up to release Plug Talk 2, and have already blessed the masses with the new singles “Curvy” with Blueface and JAY1 and “Goyard Batman” with Lil Pump and Aitch.
Last week, fans got to enjoy a new track titled “Fashion,” which features Brooklyn’s Fivio Foreign and Brixton’s M24 delivering some of their best drill bars to date over production from Lekaa Beats:
“Look, baskets, shoot good, you get drafted, uh, what’s crackin’? I’m with whatever you jackin’, I need forty for the backend, you don’t want me to have it? Give this shit back then/
Big drip, when I hit ‘em, splashin’, all black when I’m backin’, floor it, good car, foreign, huh, I’m in the air, soarin’, huh, somebody put me in orbit, look…/”
Directed by Toxic and Biker 1arda, the accompanying visual starts with M24 at a cookout with his loved ones, before switching to shots of Fivio somewhere on a rooftop — all interspersed with shots of beautiful women, high-end luxury cars, and other examples of the rockstar lifestyle.
Last year, M24 released debut album Drip N Drill, which boasted 12 cuts and additional features from M Dargg, Sneakbo, Stickz, and Tookie — that project was led by the hit single “Peter Pan.” Months prior to that release, Fivio Foreign blessed the masses with the EP 800 B.C., an eight-track offering with assists from Lil Tjay, Meek Mill, and more.
