Swae Lee is offering a bag to anyone who finds his hard drive.
On Monday (Dec. 15 ), the Rae Sremmurd emcee took to Instagram to share with fans that he lost all of his music at the Los Angeles International Airport. “I got 20K for anyone who found my hard drive @ LAX T2 Delta Airlines this morning,” he wrote in an Instagram Story. “All my songs are on there.”
He then took to Twitter to share his frustration with losing his items. “I GOT MY WHOLE LIFE ON THAT SHIT!!!” he wrote. Hopefully, someone will come forward with his hard drive because he is planning to release new music soon.
Earlier this month, Swae exclusively spoke to REVOLT about what fans can expect on his forthcoming Human Nature album. “You can expect infectious bops, infectious beats, infectious lyrics, and infectious melodies,” he said. “It’s nothing you’ve ever heard before. I’m not recycling lyrics, not remaking songs, none of that. It’s all original pioneer shit, all new shit. You can’t compare it to anything. It’s me.”
He also said that the LP would drop in January 2020 — if the pandemic ends. “I’ve been thinking about a release date because I don’t like this COVID shit,” the “Someone Said” emcee said. “I don’t want my music catching COVID, so I’m not dropping during this shit. I’ma drop in January. If it’s not over by January, something’s wrong. I’ma end it myself.”
Swae also said the album had some “good features” on it. “I’m not trying to have it oversaturated with everybody in the industry,” he continued. “A couple of my homies that really fuck with me and I fuck with them, got them on there. There’s no basic artists. Some real top dogs on my shit.”
