Back in February, the incredibly elusive RMR brought his brand of hip hop and country to the masses with “Rascal,” a loose flip of Rascal Flatts’ “Bless The Broken Road.” Since then, the masked Atlanta talent has inked a deal with Warner Records and liberated his debut EP DRUG DEALING IS A LOST ART, which sees 9 tracks and additional appearances from Young Thug, Future, Lil Baby, and Westside Gunn, the last of whom appears on the project opener “WELFARE.” Today, that very track receives a dope new visual, which matches the real life lyrics portrayed on the Do Betters-produced cut:

“Had to go and get it, my mama stuck on welfare, need the new Mercedes, I need a b***h like Offset, windows tinted, you can’t see me now, your girl on me, you can ask her how…/”

The accompanying visual comes courtesy of Cameron Dean and Lex Lexter and mixes shots of neighborhood locals with RMR in various locations, including in front of a house, surrounded by circling bikers, riding around with a beautiful woman, in a warehouse, and more. Everyone else around him rocks masks as well, except for the aforementioned love interest and Westside Gunn, who even performs his part in front of what looks like a throne made of straight cash.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, RMR revealed his feelings about his meteoric rise following the release of “RASCAL”:

“It’s been life-changing. You sit and pray for things to happen and then when it’s finally happening you just got to grab your nuts and run with it… ‘Rascal’ came from a pure place. I wasn’t forcing nothing. When I dropped it, I expected some people to gravitate towards it, but the meteorite-type of effect that it had, like ‘boom,’ it just hit. It’s like a viral sensation.”
