For some time, fans have been waiting for what Jacquees and Chris Brown were cooking up, assured that it could be one of the biggest summer R&B cuts thus far. Now, the world gets to check out their new collaboration titled “Put In Work,” which sees them promising their respective lovers that they’ll take care of them if it’s properly reciprocated:
“Panties on the floor, we don’t need clothes, can I get a repeat of the show? Young Jacquees, in your sheets, bumpin’ that CB, ride it slow/
Goin’ 9 to 5, but you put in work, ooh, let me put it in drive, all gas when I’m in that skirt, peakin’ on your phone, tell your friends, ‘call back,’ when you leave to go home, turn around, come back/
Silk sheets on the bed, I know you just got your hair done and it’s late, don’t be scared, I’ll get it redone, lil’ bae, you know I’m paid/
You come first, and that’s with sex and life, whatever works, I’ll rip your bra off, you’ll rip off my shirt/”
The visual sets the tone with Jacquees pulling up to his mansion in his Lamborghini truck to rendezvous with his attractive costar. Chris Brown can be seen throughout, including in one scene where he’s driving Jacquees around in his own luxury whip while trading harmonies.
Jacquees made plenty of noise last year with his holiday release Christmas In Decatur, along with the controversially titled King Of R&B, his second studio LP that saw plenty of assistance from T.I., Tory Lanez, Gunna, Young Thug, Summer Walker, Future, Lil Baby, and more. According to Genius, “Put In Work” may or may not mark the first of many collaborations that fans can expect to see from Jacquees and Chris Brown.
Until that’s confirmed, fans can press play on “Put In Work” below.
