Currently, Migos are slowly but surely making their way towards Culture III. Earlier this year, they delivered the hard-hitting cut “Give No Fxk,” followed by their Cinco De Mayo release “Taco Tuesday.” This week, they drop another track titled “Racks 2 Skinny,” a stark reminder that the North Atlanta trio’s doing better than the most of us:
“I walk in this b***h with my gun out, you don’t know what I know, ain’t seen what I seen/
What the f*** they be talkin’ ‘bout? D***, she still count the bag and went on this b***h to clock out/
I pulled the F&N out of my drawers, she thought I was pullin’ my c*** out, if you touch one of us, we bust, your lil’ bitty s*** get shot down/
You’re not one of us…/”
The DJ Durel, PVLACE, and Gunboi-produced cut comes with a Migos and Joseph Desrosiers-directed video that is full of the usual signs of wealth — money, jewelry, grills, and more.
Previously, Migos released Culture and Culture II in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Both proved to be massive successes for the Quality Control-signed group, giving them two back to back number one spots. As far as the third installment, many are speculating that Takeoff revealed the forthcoming release via social media:
In a past interview with Thrasher Magazine, Migos spoke on how they’ve managed to separate themselves from the rest of the pack:
“You always go for greatness. I’m just grateful to have this position because a lot of people try to make it and we just so happen to be the chosen ones. Once again, we just work and grind ’til we can’t go no more. Hard work does pay off, so I can’t tell anyone to stop following their dreams because our dreams did come true.”
Press play on “Racks 2 Skinny” below. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about Culture III sooner than later.
