Today marks two very important moments in life. Not only is it Cinco de Mayo, it’s also — as Lebron James puts it ever so eloquently — Taco Tuesday, making for a day of good food and drinks in the midst of the current Coronavirus pandemic. Migos have decided to follow Bron Bron’s footsteps in regards to celebrating the holiday by providing the fans with some new music with the help of producer DJ Durel:
“Yeah, Taco Tuesday, I got the cheese, she tastin’ the Kool-Aid/ Migo the plug, Guadalupe/
She gon’ do what the group say, comprende, caliente, she get the bag but she gotta get it ten ways/
Okay, now ándele, ándele, what the money make? Make it elevate/”
Currently, Migos are said to be putting the final touches on their forthcoming album Culture III. Previously, they dropped the radio and club-ready single “Give No Fxk,” which features assistance from Young Thug and Travis Scott. The trio is also getting ready to supply a Quarantine mixtape to hold the fans over, which Quavo revealed on Twitter:
“Quarantine Mixtape?? Jus To Keep Y’all Straight. Then Culture 3. When All This Is Over! Y’all F*** Wit That? Cuz We Ready To Drop. ASAP Original Migo Mixtape!!! Day 1 S***.”
Speaking to Billboard, Quavo also spoke on how Migos have been faring in the midst of the current shutdown:
“Of course, the business has slowed down because we perform in front of masses of people. Dropping music and all that, it’s at a standstill right now with us because we need to go out there and touch the people to push our albums to make our music work.”
Unfortunately, Offset and his family have suffered a loss due his great uncle passing from COVID-19. He took to Twitter to reveal the news, asking for prayers during this time.
