On Sunday (May 3), Kodak Black’s team shared shocking claims on the rapper’s alleged treatment in prison.
In a series of tweets, the Florida rapper’s team explained that their client has been mistreated while behind bars. “We just heard from fellow inmates at Max Penitentiary Big Sandy KY,” the post began. “In regards to @Kodakblack treatment. He couldn’t call himself as he is not allowed phone or visitation for 6 months as punishment for the incident in Miami, even though that has been the case since September.”
The statement continued, “They refuse to give him credit for that time Friday night he was badly beaten while in cuffs, by 7 guards at Big Sandy KY. They struck him in the head repeatedly with a metal object. Then after one of the guards flicked his genitals and said, ‘You’re not so gangster now, you’re gonna need bigger balls to survive.’ We have notified his counsel @LawRonin @bradfordcohen and he advised he will be asking for a full investigation by @TheJusticeDept and the FBI.”
Back in March 2020, Kodak was transferred to New York’s Niagara County Jail amidst Coronavirus pandemic. The “ZEZE” rapper continues to serve out the remainder of his sentence for federal gun charges in which he pleaded guilty. At the moment, his current release date is slated for Oct. 7, 2022.
The shocking news came after Kodak explained that he had a brilliant idea for President Donald Trump. “Tell Donald Trump to pull-up on me, I got a brilliant idea,” Kodak wrote on Instagram. “I thought of something back in Miami but I dismissed it kuz I b thinking I’m crazy sometimes. This sh*t keeps following me tho!” He continued, “This ain’t got nothing to do with my wrongful conviction. Come see me I got my corona mask on.”
