Snoop Dogg is ready to take on the world of wine.
The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper has partnered with 19 Crimes, an Australian wine brand, to launch their first ever California wine named Snoop Cali Red.
“I’ve been a fan of this wine and I’m excited to unveil my Snoop Cali Red this summer and share the experience with all my fans,” the Doggystyle rapper said in a press release. “It’s one of the most successful brands in the market, so I’m more than eager to bring this collaboration to the world!”
Snoop Cali Red retails at $12 a bottle and will be in stores this summer. The red blend will consist of 65% Petite Syrah, 30% Zinfandel and 5% Merlot.
“Snoop Dogg, an entertainment and California icon, is the perfect partner for 19 Crimes Snoop Cali Red,” said John Wardley, TWE Marketing Vice President. “Snoop embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes – rule breaking, culture creating and overcoming adversity. We are truly excited to partner with Snoop and welcome him to the 19 Crimes family.”
The West Coast rapper has been helping out those in need during COVID-19. He recently partnered with Beyond Meat to donate burgers to the workers at a Los Angeles hospital.
“Beyond Meat has made a pledge to donate over 1 million Beyond Burgers to those in need during these challenging times and I’m proud to be a part of it,” he wrote on Instagram. “Today, I sent Beyond Burgers over to [Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital].”
Beyond Meat is pledging to donate one million burgers to food banks, frontline workers, and organizations over the next 30 days.
