Cardi B is teaming up with Fashion Nova Cares to bring some much needed funds to families that have been affected by COVID-19.

She announced that starting today (Apr. 8), they plan to donate $1,000 every hour until May 20.

“What’s up my beautiful fans,” the “Bodak Yellow” rapper said in the video. “So lemme tell you something, I’ve been getting alot of DMs of people in need and me and Fashion Nova, we came up with a way that we are going to give out $1,000 an hour for the next 42 days.”

The Invasion of Privacy rapper reassured her fans that the money would go directly to them.

“You know sometimes you give to charity and you wonder like ‘hmm, is it really going to the people?’” she continued. “Well, we gonna make sure it’s going to the people. All you gotta do is go to fashionnova.com/cares, put your name and number. I’m going to give y’all all the directions down below. Make sure your Instagram is open cause I’m going to make sure you really do need it. Don’t be lying so you can lend your fucking boyfriend some money.”

“We love you guys and we are so thankful that you guys have been supporting us for so long. It’s time for us to support you guys back,” she continued. “Don’t be shy. Sometimes you gotta muthafucking ask for help.”

Cardi has been very generous to people on the frontlines of this pandemic. According to TMZ, Cardi partnered with plant-based company OWYN (Only What You Need) to donate 20,000 vegan protein and meal replacement shakes to healthcare workers in New York City hospitals. She reportedly wanted to help the medical professionals get a good meal when they barely get a chance to eat during their shifts.
