Scarface is speaking candidly about his Coronavirus diagnosis.
On Thursday (March 26), Scarface revealed that he has been battling with COVID-19 for several weeks. He also explained that as a result, he has been practicing social distancing. During a conversation with Willie on the YouTube show, Willie D Live, the rapper detailed his unfortunate experience within the past month. “You know, like this whole three weeks have been an ordeal, Will,” Scarface explained to Will in the video. “Like it’s the craziest s—t I’ve ever done and seen in my life. I’ve been to the point where I just felt like I was going to die, bro. I threw up so much until it was just hot sauce. Like your gasses and the shit in your stomach, your acids. I didn’t have no food in my stomach. It was just coming up like bile bro.”
He added, “It started off with pneumonia in both of my lungs and three or four days later my kidneys failed. Three or four days after that they told me I am quarantined.” Scarface also explained that he is waiting for an update regarding the health of his kidneys from his doctor.
Earlier this month, the World Health Organization declared Coronavirus a pandemic. “WHO has been assessing this outbreak around the clock and we are deeply concerned both by the alarming levels of spread and severity, and by the alarming levels of inaction,” a spokesperson for the World Health Organization said in a statement.
Scarface is not the only celebrity to open up about his Coronavirus diagnosis. Actor Idris Elba revealed that he and his wife also tested positive for COVID-19. “Hoping everyone is coping with this s—t. Currently still quarantine, Sabrina and I still feel ok so far with no changes. Dr told us that after quarantine we will be immune for a certain time since our antibodies fought this. At some point, we’d like to go home to London. Be safe,” he wrote to Twitter.
Get well soon, Scarface.
