Last year, Memphis stars Young Dolph and Key Glock delivered the well-received mixtape Dum and Dummer, which boasted 22 tracks and production from BandPlay, Beatmonster Marc, Sledgren and Yung Lan. Added to the album are a slew of dope visuals for cuts like “Crashin’ Out,” “Baby Joker,” “Water on Water on Water,” “Back to Back,” “Ill,” and the project’s title track. Today, fans get to check out another clip from the duo for “! Hell of a Life,” which is directed by Joe Yung Spike and sees Dolph and Glock living it up in Amsterdam. The aforementioned BandPlay can be seen on guitar duties as well.
The song itself centers on working hard and reaping the deserved rewards, something that the collaborators have no problem showing off to the world:
“…I paid the price to rock this ice/
Tell me, what you n***as know ‘bout sacrifice?/
Yeah, I was up them late mornings and them early nights/
Tryna get it right and tryin’ not to lose my life/
…
I pray every night ‘cause I live one hell of a life…/”
Currently, Young Dolph and Key Glock are on their “No Rules Tour,” which kicked off last month and will continue on through the United States until March 19. Fans can also check out solo projects from both — Young Dolph dropped his latest, Role Model, back in 2018, while Key Glock delivered Yellow Tape earlier this year.
