Femme It Forward has announced their lineup of events for this year.

Femme It Forward partnered with Live Nation to spotlight women in entertainment through a series of all female-curated lineups on stage and behind-the-scenes. This year, artists like Missy Elliott, Brandy, Lil Kim, Monica, Xscape and many others will perform at one or more of the concerts.

“The launch of Femme It Forward exceeded any expectations that we had as an organization, the amount of love and support from our community was powerful,” Heather Lowery, Femme It Forward president, said in a release. “Recruiting a team of powerhouses going into this new decade was a priority of mine and as a female CEO, I’m incredibly passionate about working with other like-minded women to further celebrate the depth, talent and power we possess in this industry.”

Additional artists performing include Rapsody, The BonFyre, Tinashe, SWV, Lil Mo, 702, Trina, Deborah Cox, Jade Novah, Kiana Lede, Tweet, Alex Mali, Brooke Valentine, Melanie Fiona, Teedra Moses, Sevyn Streeter, Sunshine Anderson, and Amerie. More performers are expected to be announced soon.

In addition to the concert series, there will be festivals and panel discussions with women in the music industry.

“Women have always played a pivotal role in the entertainment industry, whether we’re behind the scenes or center stage; but it’s rare that those stories make it to the forefront,” said Lil Kim in a release. “Femme It Forward is a game-changer! I’m excited and appreciative to be a part of this major movement.”

According to Billboard, this year’s events will also include an International Women’s Day celebration at the Fillmore in Maryland, Funk Fest in Atlanta, and the Love Language concert in Los Angeles.
