G Herbo has pleaded guilty in his battery case involving the mother of his child, Ariana “Ari” Fletcher.
According to the Fulton County solicitor’s office, he was sentenced to 12 months of probation and 150 hours of community service. He also has to attend a 24-week family violence intervention program. The rapper will avoid jail time, if he stays out of trouble.
Back in April 2019, G Herbo was arrested after he assaulted Ari during an argument. He allegedly dragged Ari by her hair and left her with visible scratches and bruises. He then left the scene with their son, but came back to the scene and spoke to the police.
After his arrest, Ari posted and deleted, her side of what happened when things turned physical.
“He kicked my door down to get in my house because I wouldn’t let him in, beat the fuck out of me front of my son then he took my son outside to his friends and had them drive off with my son,” she wrote on an Instagram post.
“Hid all my knives in my house, broke my phone and locked me inside and beat the fuck out of me again,” added Fletcher. “Dragged me outside in the concrete by my hair after his friends drove off with my son. He wrecked my whole house, broke all type of shit. I have a black eye, my body scraped up from being dragged outside.”
G Herbo’s lawyer, Tanya Miller, tells TMZ that he’s “eager put this incident behind him and to move on with his life and his work—both in the studio and in the community.”
She adds, “It is Herbert’s sincere desire to maintain harmony going forward while continuing to take care of his responsibilities to his family and to everyone else who depends on him.”
G Herbo is currently dating Emily B’s daughter, Taina Williams.
