Lil Durk was set to perform in The Bahamas for the first time on Saturday (Dec. 28), but was denied entry due to his pending attempted murder case.

The “No Auto Durk” rapper was slated to perform at the Unwrapped show along with JayDaYoungan in Nassau. He shared the excitement about the trip on social media accounts. He tweeted, “Bahamas tomorrow my first time ever def a 🎥.”

Speak Up Bahamas reported that Durk was turned away by Immigration and the police at the airport due to his current criminal case. In the footage below, you can see Durk walking with officials after being told that he could not stay.

Durk has not publicly addressed the incident but late Saturday (Dec. 28) night he tweeted, “When you in a good space can’t nobody break that – ENERGY.”

Durk is currently out on $250,000 bond after being charged in connection with a shooting in Atlanta. Durk’s attorney Manny Arora tells Pitchfork that the conditions of Durk’s $250,000 bond are that his client cannot be near weapons, he cannot have contact with anybody involved in the case, and that he has a curfew that requires him home between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Durk still maintains that he is innocent. According to police, a 23-year-old man was found shot at the scene, but he survived the shooting. In May, King Von was arrested and booked for the same charges as Durk for his alleged part in the incident. A Georgia judge recently found probable cause to charge Durk and Von with criminal attempt to commit murder. The judge also found probable cause to charge the rappers with aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity, possession of firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.
