Chance The Rapper will be hitting the stage to perform in his hometown of Chicago for the 2020 NBA All-Star game.

Chance’s younger brother and fellow rapper Taylor Bennett will perform at halftime of the Rising Stars game on Friday, Feb. 14. “Chance and Bennett will also serve as All-Star ambassadors, partnering with the league and the Chicago Bulls for fan engagement and other programs,” WGN 9 reports.

Common will deliver remarks about what basketball means to the city of Chicago before he introduces the All-Star rosters before the game. He is also a Chicago-native.

Chance recently announced he’d be cancelling part of the tour back in September, due to the birth of his second daughter. However, on Sunday (Dec. 15), the rapper took to Instagram to announce that he’d be canceling the tour completely.

“Hey guys I’ve decided to cancel the Big Tour,” he wrote. “I know it sucks and it’s been a lot of back and forth with reschedules and rerouting, but it’s for the best. I’m gonna take this time to be with family, make some new music and develop my best show to date.”

“I’m deeply sorry to anyone with a ticket who has supported me this past decade by coming to a show and rocking out with me and I feel even worse for anyone who was planning on making this their first Chance concert,” he continued. “Thank you all for an amazing year, and a huge thanks to my team and family for being so strong through this whole year. I promise to come back much stronger and better in 2020 and hope to see some of you guys there.”

Chance and his wife, Kirsten Corley Bennett, recently welcomed their second daughter, Marli. The couple also share a 4-year-old daughter named Kensli.
