Artists at Rolling Loud Los Angeles will reportedly give various tributes to Juice WRLD following his untimely death. “Sources familiar with the plans tell TMZ … Lil Pump, Lil Mosey and Tyla Yaweh are all planning to pay tribute to Juice during their sets at Rolling Loud Los Angeles. They’re all scheduled to perform Saturday (Dec. 14),” TMZ reports. Lil Pump’s set will allegedly involve performing some of Juice’s songs and/or displaying a video of him on the stage jumbotron. It’s unclear what the other artists will do to show their love to Juice WRLD.
Lil Mosey reacted to the news of Juice’s death on social media. He wrote, “This hits me. too many of my brothers have passed away & drugs need to stop juice thank you for bringing me on tour giving me the opportunity to continue my dream. Rest in paradise family.”
Sadly, Juice died after suffering from a seizure at Chicago’s Midway Airport. Authorities believe Juice swallowed a bunch of unknown pills to hide them away from authorities while they searched his luggage for drugs and guns. As they were going through his luggage, sources said the rapper began “convulsing (and) going into a seizure.” Juice WRLD reportedly woke up, but was incoherent. Police asked his girlfriend if he had any medical issues or had ingested any drugs. She said that he did not have any medical conditions, but that he “takes Percocet and has a drug problem.” He was transported to the Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
The “Lucid Dreams” rapper was originally set to be a headliner at the festival. Other artist like Chance The Rapper, Future, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Meek Mill, YG, and Lil’ Baby are slated to perform at the festival, which takes place Dec. 14 and 15.
