New merchandise from Beyoncé’s Adidas-collaborated Ivy Park brand is on the way. In a series of Instagram posts shared on Monday (Dec. 9), Bey alerted the media with sneak-peaks of the collection, which will include shoes, jewelry and unisex pieces.
Beyoncé announced the Adidas collaboration in April, after buying out the brand from Topshop owner Philip Green last year. According to Bey’s Instagram, the collection will drop on Jan. 18.
In other Beyoncé news, it appears that, contrary to initial reports, a Las Vegas residency from the mega star will not be happening.
“[It’s] absolutely not true,” a Bey representative told Variety, as reported on Sunday (Dec. 8).
Beyoncé’s alleged upcoming residency on the strip was initially reported by LoveBScott. Early reports wrote that the Lemonade mastermind was currently in the planning stages of the residency and that an official announcement would arrive within the first half of the new year. The outlet also wrote that the residency would make Bey Sin City’s highest-paid entertainer.
The Bee Hive will remember that Beyoncé did perform in Vegas before, releasing her I Am… Yours: An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas album, which was recorded over several dates of her I Am… 2009 world tour. However, many fans founds the alleged residency to be suspicious, what with Bey’s stadium-selling power.
“He can miss me with that fabricated story,” one fan tweeted in response to the report. “If Beyoncé wanted to do a Vegas residency, it would have happened back in the I am Sasha fierce era, when she was approached for it. Certainly not now, she’s enjoying her stadium status.”
While fans may not be seeing their favorite entertainer on the strip, they can save their coins for her upcoming Ivy Park line. Peep some more teaser photos from Bey’s Instagram below.
