Ciara will host the 2019 American Music Awards, which takes place on Nov. 24 at the Los Angeles Microsoft Theater. Earlier this year, the veteran performer dropped off her seventh studio album, Beauty Marks, marking the 15-year anniversary of her breakout LP, Goodies.

“I am so excited to finally share that I will be hosting this year’s [AMAs] LIVE Sunday, November 24th at 8/7c on ABC! Let’s go!” the “One, Two Step” singer wrote on Instagram on Thursday (Nov. 14).

Previous hosts of the awards show have included Tracee Ellis Ross, Jimmy Kimmel and Pitbull.

The news arrives a year after Ciara took the AMAs stage to perform “Level Up” with Missy Elliott. The legendary singer last hosted the Billboard Music Awards in 2016, alongside Ludacris.

Along with Ciara’s host announcement, Variety reports that Kesha and Big Freedia have joined the cast as the latest revealed AMAs performers. Kesha will take the stage for the first time since 2013 and will perform her and Big Freedia’s song, “Raising Hell.” The two singers will be joined by performances from Shania Twain, Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Thomas Rhett and Taylor Swift, who will also be honored as the Artist of the Decade.

The 2019 American Music Awards will air live from Los Angeles on Nov. 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Fans can vote for their favorite artists until Nov. 20 by typing “AMAs Vote” into Google.

Drake, Lil Nas X and Post Malone currently lead in several of the American Music Award categories, with Posty nominated for seven awards, Lil Nas X included in five and Drake competing for the coveted Artist of the Year Award.

In R&B, Beyoncé is nominated for Favorite R&B Artist, joined by Lizzo and Ella Mai. Mai is also included in the Favorite R&B Album and Favorite R&B Song for her self-titled LP and song, “Trip.” Chris Brown, Khalid and Bruno Mars hold down the Favorite R&B Album category, with Khalid also nominated for Favorite R&B Song with “Talk.”
