Earlier this month, Cardi B announced that Tiger Woods would be the title of her upcoming album. Now, the New York rapper says that it was just a joke.
“Oh my god. I was just kidding! I seen him [Tiger Woods] on ESPN but I kinda like it too,” Cardi said while speaking with Elliott Wilson.
To give a little back story, the Invasion of Privacy spitter admitted that she landed on the title due to the backlash she’s received over the years. “I think I’m going to name my album Tiger Woods,” Bardi said. “I think I’m going to call it Tiger Woods because remember when everybody was talking s–t on Tiger Woods, like ‘Oh blah blah, blah blah this, blah blah that,’ and then he f–king came and won that green jacket? That’s what I’m going to name my album.”
Speaking on her album, Cardi stated that she wants to complete another tour before expanding her family. “I want to rehearse, rehearse, rehearse for my tour, get ready for my f–king tour,” she said. “After my tour, I want to have a kid. I want to have another kid.” She added, “I’m really planning to do all of that in less than a year.”
She continued, “I’m working on my album, I already have two songs. I actually have three but I’m not sure about one of them. I’m working on it.”
In other Cardi-related news, her show, “Rhythm + Flow,” is currently available for streaming on Netflix. “I’m looking for somebody that when I’m going to my car I’m gonna remember their music, I’m gonna remember their face, I’m gonna remember their personality. We wanna find you, we wanna discover you,” Cardi said in reference to the show.
