Like many others, JAY-Z had a hard time accepting Nipsey Hussle’s passing.

In an upcoming NFL special, which airs on Tuesday night (Sept. 24), Snoop Dogg sat down for a conversation with wide receiver, DeSean Jackson. During the interview, Snoop spoke candidly about Jay’s love for Nip. Snoop stated that Nipsey was surprised at the support he received from both artists.

“Nip says, ‘I can’t believe you and JAY-Z are here for my thing.’ I said ‘cause you arrived.’ I said ‘You arrived.’ That’s why we here,” Snoop said. After, Snoop spoke on the Brooklyn emcee’s reaction to the devastating news. “Me and JAY-Z were just talking. And we was like.. we was like praising him. Then I see JAY-Z after Nip died. I seen him in Virginia and cuz held me so tight. He was like ‘Man, we were just talking about Nip.’ He said, ‘Man, I really loved him.’ And the way he held me was like, it was different,” Snoop revealed.

He continued, “He really loved Nip. Certain people in life really touch you no matter what. His spirit was so beautiful and when I seen JAY-Z and Beyonce at the funeral, I knew he loved him.”

More recently, Jackson announced on social media that he is auctioning his Nipsey Hussle dedicated cleats. All of the proceeds will benefit Nip’s children, Emani and Kross. “Every game this year I’m auctioning my @nipseyhussle cleats I wear in Pre game. Proceeds will go to his kids Kross & Emani !! Link will be up this week. Rest in paradise bro !! #TMC,” he wrote to Instagram.

The sneakers feature a very-detailed image of Neighborhood Nip. Secondly, there’s a quote that reads, “You’ve got to have faith in what you’re doing and not take no for an answer.”
