While handling multiple projects at once, Drake is taking care of legal matters that require his attention.

Last month, a fan named Amanda Giovacco, filed a lawsuit against Drake, The Madison Square Garden, an employee named Joseph Picco and Live Nation Worldwide for an alleged brain injury she obtained during the megastar’s concert. Giovacco claims that the crowd was “rowdy” and as a result, she “was violently struck by a beer bottle that was thrown.” According to her lawsuit, Giovacco is accusing Drake, the Garden and its employees of negligence. In addition to that, Giovacco states that plastic cups should’ve been used instead of bottles.

Despite, Giovacco’s claims, Drake states that he is not the one to blame. According to The Blast, Drake denied all allegations of wrongdoing. Secondly, Drizzy states that he has no control over third parties and had no way of preventing the alleged incident. Moving forward, the 32-year-old wants the case dismissed as soon as possible.

On a lighter note, Drake has major things in the works. Currently, the Scorpion spitter serves as the executive producer of Netflix’s “Top Boy” revival series. While attending the premiere event in London, Drake spoke on the cast’s work ethic.

“I think September 13th is a real U.K. heritage moment that you should all be very proud of. You all made it happen, I just really wanted it to happen. To the cast, new and old, the crew, the writers, the production team — everybody that pulled this all together. I really do appreciate it,” he said.

On Tuesday (Sept. 10), Drake’s OVO Sound announced that a “Top Boy” soundtrack will be released alongside the show on Friday (Sept. 13). The announcement was posted on Twitter with details kept to a minimum. Fans are speculating whether or not the upcoming project will feature new music from Toronto’s finest. Only time will tell.
