Reports of a Tee Grizzley shooting surfaced on the internet this afternoon (Aug. 21) and fans are in a panic. As more information came in, The Detroit News confirmed that a 41-year-old woman was shot and killed on the east side of town at around 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Authorities said that the woman was found dead at the scene.

With that being said, it has yet to be confirmed if Grizzley was harmed, as well. Nonetheless, it took less than a few minutes for the social media frenzy to begin. Tsu Surf was one of the first to jump on the news via Twitter to share his prayers and thoughts for the rapper, saying, “Smh. Praying for Tee Grizzley & his loved ones.” In a following tweet, he stated, “It’s demons …. that want ya soul…. we strap up & pray about it.”

Soon after, Canadian producer Murda Beatz went on his platform to share the news with his fans. His relationship with Grizzley began back in 2018 when they came together for Don Q’s hit record “Head Tap.”

Moreover, Lil Yachty posted a photo of him and Grizzley on his Instagram with the caption: “Praying for my bro. One of my real friends. In my thoughts till I hear from you. Love you broski. 🙏🏾”
