Although Kodak Black is already in jail, it looks like he might be facing more legal trouble.
According to a new report from The Blast, Kodak was served with legal papers relating to a $500,000 lawsuit. The lawsuit comes from concert promoter, Nicholas Fitts, who accused the rapper of not showing up to multiple concerts after signing a deal. According to the lawsuit, Kodak was contractually bound to perform back in March of 2017 but never showed up to his New York show. Following that incident, the “ZEZE” spitter agreed to do a makeup show the next month but never showed, once again.
Currently, Kodak is behind bars in FDC Miami after not being granted bond. During the Rolling Loud Music Festival, Kodak was arrested by police and agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Kodak is facing 10 years in prison for trying to illegally purchase firearms.
In other Kodak-related news, he recently issued an apology to City Girls’ Yung Miami after threatening to hit her in the stomach. “I bought Yung Miami a ring, she wanted 808 baby,” Kodak Black raps “When I see her I’ma hit that b—h in her stomach/The way I keep my s–t too real, they say I’m f–king up my money,” he spits.
After releasing the freestyle, Kodak realized the error in his ways and is remorseful for saying that about a pregnant woman. “#YungMiami Gimmicks Are For Suckas, As I Sit Back I Realize How Petty That Move Was And As A Man It’s Certain Things We Refrain From,” he wrote. “@sizzle808MAFIA Ain’t No Smoke Wit You Bra F–k That Lame S–t Pray Y’all Have A Healthy Baby And Live A Prosperous Life. Besides B—h We Got More Hits To Make.”
Kodak Black’s team has yet to comment on the new lawsuit.
